Hi, I’m Danielle Allen

I am currently a Child & Family Mental Health Therapist in Spokane, WA. I am a Certified Circle of Security Parent and Classroom Facilitator, as well as Washington State Approved MFT Supervisor. I graduated with an MA in Marriage & Family Counseling from Gonzaga, and have been working as a therapist for the past seven years. I am married with three children of my own, as well as one dog, four cats and four chickens!

Circle of Security was an absolute game-changer for me, both personally and professionally. I had never taken another training that had so deeply resonated with who I am. Because it’s based on self-reflection and awareness, I feel like it allows me room to make mistakes, and then grow and learn from those. I don’t have to guilt or shame myself into being the ‘perfect’ Mom, wife, and therapist. That’s a very heavy and isolating feeling. And heavy and isolating don’t serve anyone well in trying to parent and support our littles!

Marriage & Family
Therapy Supervisor

As part of the MFT community, it is important to me to provide support and learning for new and fellow clinicians in the state. I have been a WA State Approved LMHC supervisor since 2019, and a WA State Approved LMFT supervisor since October 2022. My specialties are in parent education and coaching, family systems, and attachment-based assessment and intervention. I am currently open for new MFT supervisees!
